What to prepare
- A public HTTPS website_url or remote MCP endpoint, which gives the domain.
- An accurate name and description; Prowl scores the service itself.
- The service-owned Prowl agent key; without it this destination is unavailable.
An agent-readiness listing
Prowl indexes services by domain, benchmarks them and publishes a score for AI agents. Registration is free. Scores stay capped until the owner claims the domain; claiming is optional and uses your own Prowl account.
Submission workflow
- Run the free preflight: it looks the domain up on Prowl and stops if it is already listed.
- Review the exact registration body.
- Authorize it; the service sends one free POST /v1/register.
- The listing is confirmed only when the public by-domain lookup shows an active record; the page is /service/<slug>.
- Optional owner steps: claim the domain from your own Prowl account (a DNS TXT record or a well-known file) to lift the score cap of 75.
Blockers to resolve before review
Use these as preparation checks. The destination makes its own acceptance decision.
- The domain is already indexed.
- No public HTTPS website or endpoint, or a record that stays in pending review.
