What to prepare

  • An OSINT server: it gathers or enriches intelligence from open sources. You opt in by setting directory_categories for this list to one of its sections.
  • A hosted https Streamable HTTP endpoint, or an npm package, and an open source licence on the source repository.

A single README line in an OSINT section

The service adds one line in the section you chose: the Open Source emoji, the name linked to your repository, a description under 400 characters and your MCP endpoint or npx command. Servers that are not about open-source intelligence are shown as not applicable.

Submission workflow

  1. Set directory_categories for this list to the section that fits; without it the list is shown as not applicable.
  2. Run the free preflight: it checks the licence and scans the list and open pull requests.
  3. Review the exact README line.
  4. Authorize the checked contribution and follow the independently verified pull request.
  5. Listing is confirmed only when the line is on the default branch.

  • Out of scope: generic DevSecOps or trading tooling, SEO or marketing tools, shopping APIs.
  • Cross-posted promotional pull requests, tracking parameters in URLs, or claims that do not match the code.
